
Slick Conditions Linked to Fatal Central Minnesota Crash
Winsted, MN (MinnesotaNow) - Slick road conditions may have contributed to a deadly traffic crash in central Minnesota Tuesday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash was reported just before 8:40 a.m. in McLeod County. The crash report indicates it was a head-on collision involving a semi-truck and an SUV on Highway 7, about 3 miles south of Winsted, which is approximately 25 miles west of Minnetonka.
The driver of the SUV was killed in the crash. She was identified as 63-year-old Melinda Koosman of Buffalo.
The driver of the semi-truck, 59-year-old William Dullinger of Oakdale, was not injured.

The State Patrol says snow and ice were present on the highway at the time of the fatal collision. Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not involved.
