
Motorist Killed in Collision With Median Barrier on MN Freeway
Edina, MN (MinnesotaNow) - A Twin Cities-area man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.
Victim's Vehicle Smashed Into Median Wall
The State Patrol says the deadly incident was reported just before 12:40 p.m. on Highway 169 at the Highway 62 interchange in Edina. The preliminary crash report indicates the victim was driving an SUV north on Highway 169 when it abruptly swerved to the left and collided with the concrete median barrier.

Died From Injuries at HCMC
The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. The State Patrol identified him as 32-year-old Ryan Michael Eiler of Champlin.

Alcohol Not Involved
The State Patrol says he was wearing a seat belt, and alcohol was not involved in the crash.
