One of the biggest names in comedy and daytime television will be coming to Minnesota this summer for the last two dates of her final stand-up comedy tour.

There are two Minnesota dates on the schedule for this farewell tour both are in Minneapolis and will be filmed for a Netflix special.

Ellen DeGeneres Filming Netflix Special in Minneapolis

Yes, the one and only Ellen DeGeneres has announced her final stand-up tour, 27 shows this summer starting in San Diego and finishing in Minneapolis.

Both of the Minnesota shows are tagged to be filmed for her Netflix special "Ellen's Last Stand… Up."

Ellen's talk show "The Ellen Degeneres Show" had a 19-season run from 2003 ending in May of 2022. "When you’re a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged — and as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it’s just not a challenge anymore," DeGeneres said.

When and Where is Ellen DeGeneres Performing in Minneapolis?

Ellen has Minneapolis scheduled as the last two dates of her final tour this summer. She will perform on August 16th and 17th at the Orpheum Theatre.

Earlier this month, Netflix announced Ellen will be recording her final stand-up special this year, and we now know that the two Minneapolis dates will be the shows filmed for the new special. A premiere date for Ellen's Netflix special has not been announced yet.
