Utica, (KROC-AM News)- An elderly Rollingstone woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at a Winona County intersection Thursday evening. 

The State Patrol responded to the crash at the intersection of Hwy. 14 and County Rd. 18 in Utica. The crash was reported shortly before 5:30 p.m.

The state crash report indicates a small SUV traveling south on County Rd. 18 and a Jeep heading west on Hwy. 14 collided in the intersection. The SUV driver, identified as 85-year-old Ann Almen, suffered what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries and was brought to a hospital in Winona for further treatment.

The Jeep’s driver, 18-year-old Grace Brekke of Rochester, was not hurt. Both drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not a factor in causing the collision, the report says. 

The Lewiston Police Department, Lewiston Ambulance and Winona County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash.
