I feel like I'm being invaded right now. Every morning, a small, red bug has been sitting next to my mirror in my bathroom. I kill it and the next day, I see another one. After chatting with some friends, I learned that my house in Minnesota wasn't the only one with a bit of an infestation. But what is this bug?

While boxelder bugs aren't fun to look at, they won't hurt humans. They won't even bite you.
The most damage that a boxelder bug will do is possibly stain fabric that is lighter. It is a bit gross, since the stains would be from the boxelder bug feces.
