The construction of this action park on steroids was first announced in July of last year and was expected to open in the summer of 2025, but now the owners have announced they will open the massive 43,000-square-foot facility in Maple Grove earlier than originally planned.

Slick City is An Indoor Playground Like No Other
As the first of its kind in the North Star State, Slick City Action Park is far from your typical indoor play area. The park features 14 thrilling slides of varying heights and speeds, along with air courts for basketball and dodgeball, a zipline, a trapeze, and a five-level play structure.
For those planning celebrations, there is also a spacious 5,300-square-foot event space you can rent for birthday parties and such.
The Maple Grove location is locally owned and operated by Annie and Mike Kelly, who told Bring Me The News they first discovered Slick City while visiting St. Louis. They were immediately hooked and saw an opportunity to bring this unique concept to Minnesota.
The Maple Grove location will be the first franchisee-owned Slick City in the country, but not the last. The Kellys are already planning to open two more Twin Cities locations.
