Silver Lake, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A woman was killed and a man was injured in a crash at an intersection in a small Minnesota lake town Tuesday.

That’s according to the State Patrol, which responded to the crash shortly before 9:30 a.m. Two vehicles were involved in the deadly collision.
The drivers who lost her life was not buckled up, according to an updated report about the fatal crash.

67-Year-Old Woman Killed, & 28-Year-Old Man Injured in Fatal Collision Near Silver Lake, MN
A car and pick-up collided at the intersection of Hwy. 7 and McLeod County Rd. 2, which is about 10 miles east of Hutchinson in the small town of Silver Lake.

A 28-year-old man from Marshall, identified as Sebastion Elle Diede was driving the pick-up.
67-year-old Ardith Marlene Turvander of Winsted was behind the wheel of the car, the State Patrol says.
Turvander was pronounced dead at the scene. Diede was taken to a hospital in Hutchinson with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the updated state crash report.

The State Patrol says alcohol was not involved in the deadly crash.
