Hampton, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenage woman from Rochester has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash that happened in Dakota County Friday.

That’s according to a news release issued this weekend by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office. The deadly crash occurred shortly after 7 p.m.

The medical examiner identified the fatal crash victim as 18-year-old  Ruweyda Fows Said.

 

The motor vehicle collision that claimed the young woman's life happened on Northfield Blvd. near 210th St. in Vermillion Township, which is about 13 miles south of Rosemount, according to the medical examiner.

The young Rochester woman was pronounced dead at the scene, the autopsy says.

The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the fatal crash. No other information has been released as of Sunday morning.
