La Crescent, MN (KROC-AM News)- A southeast Minnesota woman was hurt in a crash on Hwy. 14 Tuesday morning.

 An infant was riding with her. The State Patrol responded to the single-vehicle crash shortly before 10:30 a.m.

Rushford Woman and Infant Involved in Single-Vehicle Crash on Hwy. 14 Between La Crescent and La Crosse

The crash happened at the highway’s intersection with DNR Land Rd., which is east of La Crescent. 

A minivan traveling east towards La Crosse collided with the guard railing, the state crash report says. 

36-year-old Courtney Marie Metz-Kalbarczyk of Rushford was identified as the minivan driver. She was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol. 

Infant Not Hurt

The baby boy was not injured in the crash, the State Patrol says. 

Metz-Kalbarczyk and the infant were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the state crash report

The La Crescent Police Department, La Crescent Fire Department and Tri County Ambulance also responded to the crash.
