Minnesota Man Dies After Crashing Into North Iowa Bridge Pillar
Kensett, IA (KROC-AM News)- A Minnesota man lost his life in a northern Iowa crash on Sunday.

His vehicle was the only one involved in the fatality. The Iowa State Patrol responded to the fatal crash around 1:45 p.m.
The deadly crash occurred on Interstate 35 at an interchange a little more than 20 miles south of Albert Lea.
New Ulm, MN Man Identified as Fatal Crash Victim on I-35 in Northern Iowa
A southbound car entered the median, went through a cable barrier and collided with a bridge pillar after the driver lost control of the car, according to the Iowa State Patrol’s crash report.
33-year-old Samuel Joseph Poquette was identified as the driver. The New Ulm man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the crash report.
Poquette was buckled up at the time of the fatal crash, authorities say.
