
Car-Train Crash Leaves 42-Year-Old Minnesota Man Fighting for His Life
Tintah, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A vehicle-train collision has left a Minnesota man fighting for his life.

The State Patrol responded to the incident around 12:30 Friday afternoon. He was driving a car and was the only occupant in the vehicle.

The State Patrol says the car-train collision occurred at railroad crossing near the intersection of Highways 55 and 75, which is just east of the Minnesota-North Dakota border.
42-year-old Jessie Michael Vetovich of Wheaton was identified as the driver of the car.

The state crash report says he was traveling south on Hwy. 75 when the westbound locomotive slammed into his vehicle.
Vetovich was taken to a hospital in Breckenridge, MN with life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
He was not buckled up and was not suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, according to the state crash report.
