Was Bigfoot Seen in Central Minnesota Last Year?
Life has many mysteries. Which planet are men and women really from? Where do the missing socks go after they go into the dryer? OK, so I’m being a bit sarcastic here.

But there are legitimate mysteries, and one of the biggest for some folks is Bigfoot. I’m being serious this time. There are many believers out there.
My hometown of Marion N.C. hosts a Bigfoot festival every year, just as Remer does here in Minnesota.
When you stop and think about it for a minute, sometimes unexplained things start looking like one certain thing if you believe. I mean you saw what you saw, right.
There is a group called the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, and they claim to be the only scientific group investigating the mysteries of Bigfoot.
On their website, they list sightings that have been reported to them from around the country and the world. And apparently, they were in Central Minnesota last year doing an investigation in Pine County.
Between May 8th and 12th last year, a group of investigators searched the area for Bigfoot, making notes to what they were detecting.
The notes include the weather conditions, remarks about mosquitos and what the reasons they were searching in a specific area. The report does have some redacted material since this report was in a spot where it could be found online by anyone.
Several times through the report the investigators mentioned possibly seeing “eyes” in the wooded area where they were searching. This is significant because since the group was founded in 1995, there have been numerous reports of people seeing eyes near them. The eye color varies from amber, blue, green and red, but in a lot of the reports, the eyes were glowing.
The group searched unknown wooded areas, and near a lake or lakes, and boat ramp areas around those bodies of water were the areas of focus for this investigation.
In the recap of their time in Minnesota, at one point the lead investigator concluded that they spotted eyes of what could have been a sasquatch.
The group is detailed, listing all the equipment they use and any reference materials they had with them during the search.
Since 1995, BFRO says they have gotten 79 claims of Bigfoot sightings in Minnesota.
