Two Killed in Minnesota House Fire
A news release from the North Branch Police Department said a passerby alerted first-responders to a structure fire on Sunday. The flames were spotted on a rural property less than five miles south of North Branch.
While fighting the fire, first responders learned of two unaccounted for adult males believed to be inside of the home. Firefighters entered the structure and found the men deceased inside, the news release says.
The men’s bodies were sent to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. Their names will be released pending positive identification from the medical examiner.
The Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office is conducting the fire investigation. North Branch Police say they will release more information at a later time.
