St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - Jury selection got underway today for the trial of the man accused of murdering a former Rochester man and three other people.

39-year-old Antoine Suggs is charged with four counts of second-degree murder for the deaths of 26-year-old Matthew Pettus, 30-year-old Nitosha Flug-Pressley, 35-year-old Loyace Foreman, and 30-year-old Jasmine Sturm. Pettus lived in Rochester for several years before moving to St. Paul in 2020.

His body and the remains of the three other victims were discovered in an SUV that was found parked in a cornfield near Menomonie Wisconsin. According to the criminal complaint, six spent shell casings were found in the vehicle, along with an Arizona driver's license issued to Suggs.

The court record also states that investigators found other evidence that suggested the victims were shot to death at another location and then transported to the farm field in Dunn Coun the other evidence includes cell phone records and videos from surveillance cameras that link Suggs to the murders, which allegedly occurred in St. Paul.

A nationwide warrant was issued for Suggs while authorities in western Wisconsin shortly after the four murder victims were found in September 2021. Suggs surrendered to police in Gilbert, Arizona about two weeks later and was eventually returned to Minnesota for prosecution. His bail was set at $10 million.

His father, 58-year-old Darren Lee Osborne, entered a guilty plea to a charge of aiding an offender in the case last fall. He is now serving a 58-month prison sentence for helping Suggs after the quadruple homicide.
