Waite Park Police are reporting a stolen Predator 5500 Generator on Division Street and 5th Avenue South on May 13. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crime Stoppers says if anyone saw someone taking this generator please contact Waite Park Police.

The Waite Park Police Department is temporarily relocating police and city hall administration during construction. Alicia Mages from Waite Park PD and Tri-County Crime Stoppers says they will be working out of the public works facility which is located at 670 17th Avenue South.

Waite Park City Council receives an update to plan to renovate city hall

Tri-County Crime Stoppers have been notified of suspicious activity happening on the northside of Waite Park in the early morning hours of Saturday January 11. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crime Stoppers says video evidence showed 3 to 4 individuals going door to door checking residences and car doors.

Waite Park looking for candidates for a new police cadet

The Waite Park Police Department is offering home alone safety classes for kids ages 9-12 July 23-24 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Two sessions to choose from. The cost is $20 for each child.

This week is National Police Week and Waite Park is going all out to show support for their officers.

Waite Park officials will consider applying for a state grant to help fill some openings within their police department.
