We've got quite a few people in Minnesota that seemed to miss the memo on what to do during winter weather. The video will get you up to speed. #YouAreWelcome
Everyone was whining how Christmas was so sad without snow. #Whine #Whine #Whine Mother Nature heard you and now all of Minnesota is going in time out.
I can't say I'm feeling lucky, but with any luck next week's storm may be the last major winter storm of the season. It's still early, but a combination of ice, snow and high winds may result in treacherous travel conditions by the middle of next week, with blizzard or near-blizzard conditions a very real possibility. The Winter That Wouldn't End isn't over just yet.
We are fairly confident that 2-5" snow will fall on much of the Northland late Thursday and Thursday night, possibly enough to shovel and plow. A much more significant storm is shaping up for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, with potential icing and blizzard conditions. It's still way too early to predict specific inch-amounts, but looking at weather models it could be quite a pile...again.
