State Patrol ID’s Woman Killed in Crash at Rural Minnesota Intersection
Frazee, MN (KROC-AM News)- The State Patrol has released the identity of a woman killed in a crash at a rural northwest Minnesota intersection Friday evening.
The deadly crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Otter Tail County Rd. 60, which is about 13 miles southeast of Detroit Lakes. It was reported shortly before 7 p.m.
An updated version of the state crash report released Saturday identifies the woman killed in the crash as 64-year-old Dianne Marie Tyge.
The report says she was driving a hatchback on eastbound Hwy. 10 when it hit a pick-up truck making a left turn onto County Rd. 60 from westbound Hwy. 10.
Tyge was pronounced dead at the scene. The pick-up driver, identified as 67-year-old David Michael Goble of Eden Prairie, was taken to a hospital in nearby Perham for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Both drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the deadly crash, the report says.
