
Man Severely Burned in Southern Minnesota Field Fire
Le Sueur, MN (MinnesotaNow) - Authorities in south-central Minnesota are reporting that a man was severely injured by a field fire Tuesday afternoon.
Fire Reported Tuesday Afternoon
According to a news release, the Le Sueur Fire Department and Le Sueur County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a fire in a field in Sharon Township around 2:40 p.m. The rural property is located about 3 miles southeast of Le Sueur.
67 Year Old Victim Airlifted to Hospital
The Sheriff's Office says the first emergency responders to arrive at the scene located a 67-year-old man suffering from severe burns to his lower extremities. After receiving medical assistance at the scene, the fire victim was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment.

Under Investigation.
The man's name and information about his medical condition have not been released.
The news release says the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
