See Inside the Previously For Sale Minnesota Gentlemen’s Club ‘Sugar Daddy’s’ [GALLERY]
Long known to hunters and fishermen heading north for a weekend trip to the cabin, Central Minnesota's only gentleman's club- Sugar Daddy's- has been sitting vacant on Highway 10 for a while now.
With its iconic sign and its eye-catching advertisements ("Congratulations Graduates- Now Hiring"), it is hard to miss the pole-barn-like structure in Sauk Rapids.
The former gentlemen's club was first listed by Mike Gerdes of Frontier Real Estate Group in February 2022. That listing was reportedly canceled several months later and the property is currently shown as 'Off Market.'
The building features 6,184 square feet and is situated on three acres of land. The asking price for this iconic piece of Central Minnesota history was $850,000.
It was last listed through ReMax Results agent Kevin Goettl.
According to the MLS listing:
This is a class S steel construction building with metal roof and siding. It has 13' sidewalls with 10' and 12' ceilings. There is gas force air and central air, 600 amp. electric service with two 200 amp sub panels, three bathrooms, a 50 gallon gas water heater with 2 water softeners and private well & septic. The building is equipped with a central vacuum and speaker system. This retail space was previously operated as a gentleman's club. Vinyl fence and digital signage also on property. Hwy. #10 handles approximately 31,000 vehicles per day.
In November 2022, Instead of the "For Sale" advertisement on the ribbon board out front, there were three messages repeating over and over.
The second sign says "PUMPKIN & SPICE"
The third sign reads "Racks & Thighs" with pictures of a deer and a bird leg.
There are two possible explanations. One, Sugar Daddy's is planning to re-open. Pumpkin and Spice are easy to picture as the names of the dancers at the club and I think the 'racks and thighs' bit speaks for itself.
ON THE OTHER HAND
This would be a clever way to get the word out that some sort of restaurant or (ahem) meat market may be taking over the space. Pumpkin spice, racks, thighs... maybe it won't be a 'gentlemen's club' after all?
Come on in, you know you've always been curious about what it looks like in there!
