After 13 Years, Popular Rochester News Anchor is Leaving

A news anchor that Southeast Minnesota has loved the last 13 years is leaving ABC 6 News.

Laura Lee Announced She Is Leaving ABC 5 News in Rochester

An emotional announcement was shared today by Laura Lee at ABC 6 News in Rochester.  She will be leaving the station and her last day will be April 28th.

Today we are announcing that I will be leaving ABC 6 News at the end of next month...This has been a very difficult decision but it is a decision that I'm making for my kids and I.  We are really excited about this next chapter.  And life is about timing and I think the time is just right for my family and I at this point to make this next move.

 

I just want to thank you all so much for just loving me and my family... It's the people.  It's always been about the people.  And I'm going to miss you all so much.
