How bad are porch pirates today? SafeWise reported that about 120 to 120.5 million packages are snatched from porches throughout the United States. That number from 2023 shows that the porch pirates are working extra hard because in 2022, that number was 119 million, which was slightly less.
While you may think that this will never happen to you, think again. One of the latest statistics about porch pirate thefts indicates that about half of Americans made a report in 2024 about a package that was stolen. In 2023, only 34% of Americans made that statement.
