One Seriously Injured in Minnesota House Explosion
Coon Rapids, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Twin Cities house explosion left one person with serious injuries Wednesday afternoon.
The Coon Rapids Fire Department says crews responded to the explosion shortly before 3 p.m. It happened in the 800 block of 104th Avenue.
Officials say the victim was inside of the structure at the time of the explosion. They were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with what are being described as serious injuries.
The victim’s name has not been released. Officials say no other injuries were reported.
The explosion also damaged homes on both sides of the structure. The Coon Rapids Police Department, Coon Rapids Fire Department along with the Minnesota Fire Marshall’s Office and Anoka County Fire Investigation Team are investigating the cause of the explosion.
