While there are a number of businesses in the region that offer edibles and other products already widely available in Minnesota, the first cannabis dispensary with recreational flower, pre-rolls, and other cannabis products in Northeastern Minnesota just opened.

As the State of Minnesota continues to work toward licensing businesses for selling these types of products, this has left Minnesotans interested in specific cannabis items with limited options.

THC edibles and beverages are widely available in the state, but recreational flower or vape products are still largely in limbo as licensing for businesses in Minnesota ramp up.

Tribal governments around the state have been utilizing the opportunity to work independently of the state licensing agency as sovereign governments, opening dispensaries in places like Walker, Mahnomen, and Red Lake.
