Minnesotan Cast In New Season Of HBO Smash
This is going to be incredible! A Minnesotan has been cast in the new season of True Detective, which happens to be one of the greatest shows ever in my opinion. The show will be in its fourth season.
The actress is named Isabella Star LeBlanc and she will be making her big debut on the show when it premieres at a later date. The Star Tribune did a feature on her and the role, calling it her big break. In the feature, she talks about how Minnesota is her home and always will be, even if she makes it major in Hollywood.
The actress, who is twenty-five years old, was actually on the first season of the show, which was the season that everyone still talks about to this day. It starred Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey and some even consider it one of the greatest seasons of a show of all time!
She was in one episode in the first season and played a character named Leah. Her character's name in the new season is also Leah, so it is likely a tie back to the first season (or a crazy coincidence). Her character is the stepdaughter of Jodie Foster.
We don't know too much about season four other than a few of the cast members and the fact that it is called True Detective: Night Country. There is also no word on an exact premiere date but HBO recently shared that it will be coming out in the near future.
I can't wait to see the new season! I stopped watching after the first season but I need to get back into it so I can see this fun Minnesota connection.
