
Minnesota Woman Critically Injured While Fleeing From Deputy
Thief River Falls MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is investigating a crash that occurred during a law enforcement pursuit but left a Minnesota woman with critical injuries.
The preliminary State Patrol report on the incident indicates a Pennington County Sheriff's Deputy was pursuing an SUV on a two-lane highway in northwestern Minnesota when it crashed into a pickup truck traveling in the opposite direction. The collision was reported around 12 noon on Friday just north of Thief River Falls.
The State Patrol identified the driver of the fleeing SUV as 50-year-old Michelle Marie Holter of Thief River Falls. She was transported to the emergency room at the hospital in Thief River Falls with life-threatening injuries.

The two occupants of the pickup, a 48-year-old man and his 42-year-old male passenger, were not injured.
The State Patrol report states that alcohol was not involved.
