In 2023, the first day of spring is Monday, March 20, so now is the time to start planning on attending those great annual spring traditions!

Duluth's Lake Superior Zoo has announced details of their annual event that should be on the calendar of every Northland family. What's not to love when you have an event filled with so many fun events and activities, not to mention the chance to meet the Easter Bunny?

The Lake Superior Zoo has announced the annual Easter EGGstravaganza will take place on Saturday, April 8, and tickets can be purchased in advance at a discounted price.

Not only can families have fun exploring the Lake Superior Zoo and all the animals who call it home, the fun list of special activities available for this event includes:

  • Easter Egg Hunt with prizes
  • Magic Show
  • Coloring Contest
  • Games & activities
  • Special Easter-themed animal enrichment
  • Arts & crafts
  • Food trucks

The 2023 East EGGstravaganza is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and there will be a special hour reserved exclusively for Lake Superior Zoo Members from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Zoo Members also receive free admission.

Tickets for the general public are discounted to $12 when purchased in advance either online or at the Lake Superior Zoo. Tickets purchased on the day of the event will be $16. Kids ages 2 & under will be admitted free.

The Lake Superior Zoo adds that sponsorships are an important part of helping to make this event possible for the Northland and they would love to add more members to their sponsorship family.
