Discount Store In Northwest Rochester Is Closed

March is coming in like a lion for local businesses in Rochester, Minnesota as another store closed.

Med City Discount Outlet in Northwest Rochester is Closed

Back in July 2022, I got pretty excited because another place to do some discount shopping was opening up in Rochester.  My daughter and I recently got the thrifting itch and were browsing discount stores all over Minnesota and I was thrilled to hear about Med City Discount Outlet opening at 1310 7th Street NW.

Unfortunately, due to some circumstances out of their control, the store near the old Northgate Health Club closed on March 10th.

According to KIMT 3, the business suffered multiple instances of severe water damage at its warehouse location.  They hope to reopen at some point in the future but sadly, they had to close the store at 1310 7th Street NW.

If you are in need of large fixtures and looking for a great deal, the company has been posting and selling quite a few over on its Facebook page.

You Know Spring Has Arrived When This Spot Opens Up in Rochester, Minnesota

While we were getting hammered snow last week, a business that people have been anxiously awaiting to reopen decided to start taking orders again.

Out of all of the Dairy Queens in Rochester, the place by Best Buy at 4140 E Frontage Road in NW Rochester is our family favorite.  This one is our favorite because it seems like the amount of ice cream you get with a Blizzard is just a little bit more than what you get at the other locations.  You can test that out yourself this year because they are finally back open!
