St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - St. Paul police say a man was shot to death in broad daylight in the parking lot of a Target Store this morning

The fatal shooting was reported just before 10 AM at the East St. Paul Target location along I-94. A news release indicates the victim of the shooting was transported in a private vehicle to a nearby St. Paul Fire Station for medical attention, and despite the efforts of the medics at the station, he died from his injuries.

A St. Paul Police Department official was quoted as describing the crime as "very brazen."

A news release says St. Paul homicide investigators are working to determine what led to the shooting and identify a possible suspect. No arrests have been reported.

The name of the victim has not been released.
