There’s something oddly comforting about walking into a grocery store or gas station and grabbing your favorite snack. I almost always leave with something salty - usually ranch flavored veggie straws or those ridiculously delicious sweet potato chips that somehow feel like a healthier choice, even if I end up eating the whole bag.

Chips are one of those snack aisle staples that feel like second nature. You find the one you like, and without even thinking, your hand reaches for the same bag every time. Everyone has their go-to. Maybe it’s a classic like Sour Cream & Onion, or something bolder like Flamin’ Hot.

And just when you've gotten hooked, they quietly pull it from shelves never to be seen again. Sigh.

Unfortunately, that's what's happening. Several tasty snacks will be vanish from shelves this year, because they are being discontinued. So if there’s a chip or crunchy snack you always grab, now might be a good time to double-check it’s not on the chopping block.

15 Discontinued Snack Chips In 2025

Frito-Lay makes some of the most popular snacks in America, and it seems that every year, they introduce new twists on their top brands that feature unique flavors.

It can be fun to venture out of your comfort zone and try new things and those new things can sometimes become new favorites. However, there is no guarantee that the new snacks will stick around for very long, which can be disappointing.

Sporked recently uncovered 15 snacks that Frito-Lay plans on discontinuing in 2025, and they include some of my favorites. If some of your favorites are on this list, you better stock up if you still see them on store shelves and enjoy them while you can.

Perhaps if fans of snacks being discontinued protest, Frito-Lay will change its mind.
