24/7 Emergency Vet Clinic is Finally Coming to Rochester
Right now, Rochester doesn't have a 24-hour emergency vet clinic. Once the vet clinics in town close, the only place you can take your animal in an emergency is to Allied Veterinary, which is out of the Stewartville Animal Clinic.
But soon, Rochester will get our very own emergency vet clinic and it's going to be open 24/7. They're working on building the clinic right now on the south side of town.

Allied Veterinary Opening 24/7 Emergency Vet Clinic in Rochester, MN
The 24/7 emergency vet clinic will be Allied Veterinary, the same people that do the after-hours and holiday service in Stewartville, who they have partnered with since 2024. It sounds like, according to the Post Bulletin, that Allied will move their services from the Stewartville Animal Clinic to their own building once it's complete.
The clinic will NOT be for vaccinations or routine check ups, this will only be for emergency situations. This will be great for the vet clinics in town because emergency situations can go to Allied and the other clinics can focus on the day-to-day care.
The exact location of the clinic is off of 63 between McDonald's and Discount Tire.
When Will the 24/7 Emergency Vet Clinic Open in Rochester, MN
The construction process is SUPER early on at this point. I drove by and it's a bunch of dirt and either concrete or limestone, but I think I could see the beginnings of where the building will end up.
They hope to open their doors by Memorial Day 2027.
