The Minnesota Department of Transportation says even a small amount of snow can create hazardous driving conditions.

Every winter, motorists are reminded to slow down, buckle up, maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, and allow extra time to reach their destination safely.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, between midnight and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, there were over 200 crashes, including 17 with injuries, and more than 125 vehicle spinouts.
