MnDOT Announces New Snowplow Names, Where You Can Find Them
I know it's been abnormally warm lately but the Name a Snowplow contest rolled on! And now, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced the 8 new snowplow names for our state.
While we don't need their services right now, we may need them in the next few months. According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, we'll likely be seeing snow late in the season. Yay...

MnDOT's New Snowplow Names
Over the past couple of months, MnDOT collected nominations for the annual Name a Snowplow contest and then had the people vote for their favorites.

Which one is your favorite? I really like the Barbie's Dream Plow one because it's a great reference to the movie that took over the world.
Where to Find MnDOT's Newly Named Plows
If you'd like to be on the lookout for these newly named plows, here's where you could possibly see them out on the roads! Please be smart, though, and still keep a safe distance from plows. Don't go chasing them around trying to find Taylor Drift.
Taylor Drift: District 2 (Northwest Minnesota)
Clark W. Blizzwald: District 3 (Central Minnesota)
Dolly Plowton: District 1 (Northeast Minnesota)
Waipahinte (Dakota word for 'snowplow'): District 8 (Southwest Minnesota)
Beyonsleigh: District 4 (West Central Minnesota)
You're Killin' Me Squalls: District 6 (Southeast Minnesota)
Fast and Flurrious: District 7 (South Central Minnesota)
