Minnesota's largest airline has now added a new and exciting nonstop flight to and from MSP! This new flight just had their first flight a few days ago and it's to a location that I'm sure is on many travel bucket lists.

Who is Minnesota's Largest Airline

If you aren't aware, Minnesota's largest airline is Delta Airlines. There are tons and tons of Delta flights that go in and out of MSP every day from Terminal 1.

Ugh, I would love to go to Ireland someday. And now, Delta has made it even easier for that to happen with this nonstop flight. No layovers, yay!

They announced the plans for this new, nonstop flight from MSP to Dublin back in August of 2023. Just a few days ago, last Thursday evening according to FOX 9, the first MSP to Dublin flight took off.

These direct flights are scheduled for every day from now through October 25th, 2024, so it's a summer/fall-only thing. At least for now.

When Delta announced this new flight, they said that these nonstop flights would depart MSP at 9:20 PM and arrive in Dublin at 10:50 AM local time. To come back home, the flight would depart from Dublin at Noon and land at MSP at 2:25 PM local time.

I took a peek a flights and those times still seem to ring true, give or take 10 minutes.

How Much Does it Cost to Fly From MSP to Dublin?

As you can imagine, a flight across the pond isn't cheap. For a flight at the end of July 2024, the price I'm seeing is $1,937 round trip per person. That, of course, doesn't include all of the fees and all of that good stuff.

But! I also found a flight for $524 for mid-June, so make sure you do some shopping if your trip dates are flexible.
