New Olmsted Medical Center Location in Owatonna is Now Open

Owatonna, MN (KROC-AM News)- Olmsted Medical Center (OMC) has added a new location.

The healthcare provider celebrated its new facility with a ribbon cutting and open house event on Monday. It is now ready to begin seeing patients. 

A news release announcing the grand opening says, “the new clinic marks a significant expansion of OMC’s mission to provide patient-centered, community-focused, and future-oriented healthcare.”

Olmsted Medical Center's New Location in Owatonna is now Open

The new Olmsted Medical Center clinic is located at 210 North Oak Avenue, Suite 100, in Owatonna. 

It is both a clinic and an ambulatory surgery center that will offer family medicine, podiatry, obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN), psychiatry, cardiology, and additional visiting specialties. 

“We’re proud to extend our commitment to personalized, patient-centered care by offering another option for residents in and around Owatonna who currently travel to our Rochester clinics,” said Rob Cunningham, Chief Operating Officer at OMC. 

OMC is planning to begin procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, biopsies, and women’s health and foot care treatments at the new Owatonna facility in August. 

Orthopedics, dermatology, and other services will be added in 2026, the news release says. 

The new location's hours are weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Patients will also have access to to on-demand video visits in the evening hours via OMC MyChart. 

“As Owatonna continues to grow along the I-35 corridor, we look forward to building new relationships and expanding healthcare access for patients in this vibrant and dynamic community,” said Mark Wilbur, MD, Chief Medical Officer.
