New York Mills, MN (KROC-AM News)- At least one person is dead following a crash involving a car and pick-up truck at a rural Minnesota intersection.

It happened Wednesday morning at an intersection. Three people were in the pick-up and the driver was the sole occupant of the car. 

The State Patrol and other emergency responders were dispatched to the crash at the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Haberhan Rd., which is about 27 miles southeast of Detroit Lakes.

4 People, Including Teen Boy, Involved in Fatal Crash on Hwy. 10 Near Detroit Lakes, MN

The pick-up was traveling west on the four-lane highway and the car was heading north when the vehicles collided in the intersection, according to the state crash report.

A 51-year-old Miles City, MT man was driving the pick-up. His passengers are being described as a 15-year-old boy and 55-year-old woman who are also from Miles City, MT.

A 55-year-old woman from Sebeka, MN was driving the car. No names have been released and the State Patrol has not yet said how many lives were lost in the deadly crash. 

Officials plan to release more information Thursday morning.
