7 Things Minnesota Kids Should Do Right Now To Guarantee a Snow Day

My kid is pretty convinced that school is going to get canceled on Friday.  I reminded him that if he is truly wanting a snow day, he needs to go through all of the things that help make that wintery magic happen in the sky.

Gather up your kids and go through the list below because the more kids that do the list below, the better the chance that school will be called off and we all get a snow day!

  • Brush your teeth with "special" snow day water
    • Step One:  grab some snow from outside.
    • Step Two:  melt the snow on the stove until it becomes water.
    • Step Three:  Use only that water to brush your teeth before you go to bed.

  • Wear your pj's inside out.
    • Step One:  Find your favorite flannel pj's.
    • Step Two:  Turn your pj's inside out.
    • Step Three:  Put those on before you go to bed.

  • Eat Ice Cream before bed.
    • Step One: Find ice cream with some sort of moose, fish, bear or lake reference at the store.
