A cold beer, a friendly vibe, personal connections, a Tombstone pizza, and a feeling of Minnesota neighbors -- that's what I feel every time I walk into the Medford Muni.

I have lived in a lot of small towns in my time; Minnesota Indiana, Florida, Montana, Colorado, and back in Minnesota again, and there's something special about the Muni in Medford.

Some of my favorites in the past have been the Clip Joint in Alborn, Minnesota; the Knob Hill Tavern in Newburg, Indiana; the Crystal Bar in Bozeman, Montana; and The Mayor of Old Town in Fort Collins, Colorado. Those are a few off the top of my head.

On Yelp, Erica K. says:

You will never find this bar unless you know somebody in Medford. My husband is from Medford, hence the reason I know of it, lol. Its great though. Think "Sweet Home Alabama." Born and raised in the city, I couldn't believe that places like this really still existed.

Clayton R. adds:

When you walk in and the bartenders know your name, whether I walk in with my parent) or when I come in with my friends. Its always the same atmosphere, if you like sports, they will be playing on the multiple TVs they have.
