Wednesday is going to be one of those days where you'll appreciate the fact the you have an indoors job (if you have an indoors job). It's gonna be kind of nasty across southern Minnesota.

For starters, the National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for most of Minnesota, in effect from 6:00 am tomorrow morning through 9:00 pm tomorrow night. We can expect 20 to 30 mph sustained winds, gusting up to 50 mph.

Wednesday Will be Downright Nasty

Snow will also be likely across southern Minnesota mainly during the morning, along with falling temperatures. The high for the day will occur around 9:00 am as we reach 28, with temps tumbling backward through the day to around 14 by the evening commute. Total snow accumulation is expected to be less than half an inch.

Things will stay cold following tomorrow's blustery hump day, with the low Wednesday night dipping to around -2, with wind chills approaching -20.

So You're Sayin' There's a Chance (of Snow)

The only significant snowfall in Minnesota this week looks to limited to the arrowhead region today through Thursday, where up to a half-foot for snow could accumulate.

The good news is that the brief cold snap doesn't appear to hang around southern Minnesota beyond Thursday. Highs Thursday will be limited to the mid-teens, but rebounds into the upper twenties on Friday.

This Weekend Looks Amazing
