The report card is a data base for all public schools across the state. It includes student responses to survey questions, a school district's demographic, how tax payer dollars are spent by a school district and more.

It also gives users an insight to how a district's student's did on the annual Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA), a standardized test administered to students annually to determine how many young learners are meeting the state's standards.

The report card also allows users to see how students in their own districts are doing when it comes to meeting state standards.

One item of note is the last time prior to this year that the MCA was administered in the Rochester Public School District was 2022. This was due to a cyber attack last year that prevented the district from administering the standardized test.
