Hundreds of Deadly Fentanyl Pills & Stolen Gun Seized from Rochester, Minnesota Home
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Rochester man is in custody following the seizure of hundreds of suspected fentanyl pills from his home.
That’s according to information released Monday by Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tim Parkin. The drug seizure happened on Friday.
Parkin said members of the sheriff’s office and Southeast Minnesota Violent Crime Enforcement Team executed a narcotics warrant at a residence in the 600 block of Geranium St. Southeast in Rochester.
The search led to the discovery of approximately 400 M30 pills suspected of containing fentanyl and other drug paraphernalia.

Parkin said law enforcement also found a handgun during the raid that was reported stolen out of Albert Lea.
As a result of the search, authorities arrested 33-year-old Darnell Jones on suspicion of first-degree drug sales, first-degree drug possession and felon in possession of a firearm.
Jail records indicate he was booked into the Olmsted County Jail shortly after noon on Friday. Jones is awaiting arraignment in Olmsted County Court.
