Narcan Revives Two Suspected Drug Overdoses in Rochester Sunday Afternoon
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester police responded to a pair of suspected drug overdoses Sunday afternoon.

Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says the suspected drug overdoses occurred within three hours of each other.
Narcan, which is used to quickly reduce the effects of a drug overdose, was deployed in both situations, the police report says.
Rochester, MN Police Respond to Pair of Suspected Drug Overdoses Sunday Afternoon, Narcan Deployed in Both Cases
Officers responded to the first reported overdose at the Landing near Downtown Rochester shortly after 1 p.m. Police provided Narcan to a 40-year-old man.
He was then transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to an emergency room for further care, Grayson said.
Officers responded to Sunday’s second drug overdose report shortly before 4 p.m. in the 5500 block of Bandel Rd. Northwest.
A man reported a 26-year-old woman had overdosed in a vehicle after she took fentanyl in a vehicle.
The man told officers he had given her Narcan, Grayson said. The overdose victims have not been identified.
