He entered a plea agreement in the case earlier this year. The case began last Summer when the victim was reported missing.
The criminal complaint says the father of the victim reported his 15-year-old daughter missing to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office last July.

He told deputies his daughter left their home with a man he knew as Jordan Michael Simar-Hall, who was 19 at the time. While speaking with the father, deputies learned that Simar-Hall and the girl had been found together in Stewartville, the court document says.
The teen then told investigators she and Simar-Hall had had sex on July 9 of last year at a park in Chatfield and that she had met Simar-Hall on Snapchat in the Spring, according to the complaint.
The charges say the girl said she would sneak out of her home to meet Simar-Hall in June and July of 2024. Simar-Hall told investigators he believed the girl to be 14-15 years old and admitted to having sex with her in the park in Chatfield.

The charges also say an extraction of Simar-Hall’s phone revealed messages that discussed their relationship and sex. Simar-Hall and the teen girl also sent sexually explicit images of themselves to each other.
In May Simar-Hall pleaded guilty to a third-degree criminal sexual conduct charge in exchange for the dismissal of a count of engaging in electronic communication relating to or describing sexual conduct with a child.
On Wednesday he was sentenced to five years probation.
