More Juvenile Suspects Nabbed in Rochester Parking Ramp Attack
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two more juvenile suspects have been arrested in connection with an assault at a downtown Rochester parking ramp Monday evening.
Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson earlier reported that officers responded to the First Street parking ramp just before 8 p.m. on Monday and found a 15-year-old assault victim. The teenager told the officers that he was struck with a pistol during an assault by three males, who fled in a vehicle.
The juvenile victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment.
A news release on the incident says that shortly after the assault was reported, law enforcement dispatch received a report of a property damage hit-and-run, and the person who reported the incident was identified as one of the assault suspects. Grayson says the 17-year-old boy from Rochester was arrested and transported to the East Central Juvenile Detention Center in Anoka.
