Brooklyn Park, MN (KROC-AM News) - The victim of a weekend shooting in the Twin Cities was from the Rochester area.

An alert issued by the Brooklyn Park Police Department Saturday night indicated officers responded to a shooting in the parking lot of a business around 2 PM Saturday. The responding officers located two victims with gunshot wounds.

After the officers rendered first-aid at the scene, both victims were transported to North Memorial Health Hospital. Brooklyn Park Police reported that one of the victims was later pronounced dead and the other shooting victim was seriously wounded.

The alert stated that the suspect fled the scene before the officers arrived. So far, no arrests have been reported.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the deceased shooting victim as 23-year-old Ramone Reshawn Blue of Stewartville. The agencies news release indicates he died of multiple gunshot wounds.
