
Faribault Police Identify 74-Year-Old Pedestrian Who Was Killed in Walmart Parking Lot
The man’s condition began deteriorating as he received emergency care. He died after being taken to the hospital in Faribault, police said.
Faribault, MN (KROC-AM News)- Police in Faribault have identified the pedestrian and driver who were involved in a fatal incident Monday.

Officers responded to the Faribault Walmart store around 9:50 Monday morning after receiving a report that a pedestrian had been pinned against a wall by a vehicle backing up in reverse.
He was initially complaining of back and pelvic pain and was semi alert, police said.

Faribault Police ID 74-Year-Old Medford Man Who Died After Being Pinned Against Walmart Store
On Tuesday, Faribault police identified the pedestrian as 74-year-old Steven Patrick Clark.
Police said the Medford man was walking out of the Walmart liquor store and had rounded the southeast corner of the building when he was hit and pinned by the reversing pick-up.
Authorities identified the driver who backed into Clark as 68-year-old Steven Francis Dyrdahl of Kenyon. Drydahl remained at the scene during the incident, police say.
Law enforcement previously said impairment was not a factor in the deadly incident. The fatality remains under investigation.
The Faribault Police Department says they will forward the findings of their investigation to the Rice County Attorney’s Office for a review and determination if charges are warranted.
