Police Arrest Naked Man Accused of Barging into Rochester Home

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester police are reporting the arrest of a man suspected of breaking into an occupied home while he was naked.

Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson said officers responded to the burglary reported in southwest Rochester shortly before 8:00 Monday evening. 

The suspect also reportedly attempted to force his way into a neighbor, police say.

Police: Naked Man Arrested Following Naked Burglary of Occupied Rochester, MN Home

Police responded to the burglary at an occupied home in the 2000 block of Woodcrest Ln. Southwest. The occupants reported the naked man entered the home through an unlocked door and said he needed to use the bathroom, according to the police report. 

Responding officers found him inside of the home and suspected him of being high because he was not making sense, Grayson said. Police have identified the suspect as 29-year-old Brody Weinmann of Rochester. 

The report says officers found his truck on top of a guardrail at the intersection of 20th St. and Edgewater Ct. Southwest, which lies on the opposite side of Hwy. 52 from the home. 

Wienmann was evaluated at a hospital then transported to the Olmsted County Jail. Grayson says Wienmann could face charges of first-degree burglary, indecent exposure and DWI.
