Kasson Motorcyclist Severely Injured In Southeast Minnesota Crash
Kasson, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorcyclist is fighting for his life following a crash in southeast Minnesota.

A subcompact SUV was also involved in the accident. The State Patrol responded to the crash in Dodge County around 8:20 Monday night.
The State Patrol sasy the crash occurred on Hwy. 14 about three miles east of Kasson.
The motorcycle and SUV were traveling west when they collided at the highway’s intersection with Dodge County Rd. 15, the State Patrol says.
Mayo One Responds to SUV-Motorcycle Crash on Hwy. 14 Near Kasson, MN
29-year-old Jesse George Sweeter of Kasson was identified as the motorcycle operator. He suffered what the state crash report describes as life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.
Mayo One helicopter also responded to the scene, however the report does not say whether or not Sweeter was airlifted or transported by ground.
49-year-old Heather Ann Appel of Byron was driving the SUV. She was wearing her seatbelt and escaped the crash without any injuries.
The state crash report says alcohol was not involved and it’s unknown if Sweeter was wearing a helmet.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Kasson Fire Department, Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service and Dodge Center Ambulance also responded to the crash.
