Red Wing, MN (KROC-AM News) - The death of a previously missing Red Wing area man was apparently a suicide.

Nagel had been missing since November 15th and was the subject of large-scale search efforts in areas along the Mississippi River in Minnesota and Wisconsin. More than 150 volunteers were involved in a search that was conducted on November 19th after the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension issued a statewide missing person alert.

At that point, much of the search effort was focused in an area on the Wisconsin side of the river where Nagel's pickup truck was later found submerged in a Mississippi River backwater.
