
Minnesota Man Fighting for His Life Following Hwy. 14 Crash
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Kasson man is fighting for his life after suffering severe injuries in a crash along Hwy. 14 in western Olmsted County.

He’s listed as the only occupant in the vehicle. The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 11:20 on Wednesday morning.
The state crash report indicates a pick-up truck was traveling west on Hwy. 14 in rural western Rochester when the driver lost control and the pick-up went into a guardrail.
83-year-old Franklin Wendell Ness has been identified as the driver. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital with what are being described as life-threatening injuries.
The road was described as dry at the time of the crash. Ness was buckled up and not under the influence of alcohol, the report says.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the crash.
