Crash On Hwy. 61 Along Lake Pepin Sends Man and Woman to Hospital
Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash on Hwy. 61 in Wabasha County sent two people to the hospital over the weekend.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 11:30 Sunday night.
The crash occurred on a two-lane stretch of the Hwy. along Lake Pepin between Wabasha and Lake City.
Hwy. 61 Crash in Wabasha County Sends St. Paul Man and Houston, TX Woman to Hospital
A Jeep and car were both traveling north when they collided, according to the state crash report. 20-year-old Josiah Joaquin Willis of St. Paul was driving the car.
Willis and his passenger, identified as 44-year-old Carlisa Rena Adams of Houston, Tx, suffered what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries. The man and woman were taken to a hospital in Wabasha for further care.
44-year-old Michael Paul Ole Midtovne was driving the Jeep. The Red Wing man escaped the crash without injuries.
Everyone was wearing their seatbelts and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the State Patrol says. Hwy. 61 was wet at the time of the late-night collision.
Wabasha Fire and Ambulance, the Wabasha Police Department and the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash.
